To answer your first question: I'm not sure what's going on with the Captain. Word around the boat says he's a madman. I'm still learning the ropes myself.

And I'm already in the library, if you'd care to meet there? I can pull some English books for you.

I've heard that he's not all there myself.

Sure. I'll head over there. [not saying it'll take him a bit longer than usual but meh]

See you when you get here.

[And when Doumeki DOES show up, he'll find that a tall, lean, bony young man has taken over a very large table in the library. Most of the books laid out change their language for Doumeki to read in Japanese when he approaches them-- a good 90% of them are on mythology. The other ten percent are divided between medical texts (exclusively on schizophrenia and sedatives) and English textbooks.

The man in question is halfway up a ladder, pulling an elementary school English textbook. This place seems to have everything.]

[it takes a bit for Doumeki to make his way over there, but make his way he does. He doesn't actually know what Bennet looks like, but fortunately there aren't many in the library, so he'll hazard a guess on the guy who's pulling down books. He doesn't know much English, but he knows sentences here and there, so let's start with a greeting. With a Japanese-English accent. Ls that sound like Rs and all]

Haro.
