Seems I slept too well over the weekend; tonight's a sleepless one. But I already had more than my daily dose of Sandman, it's too late to go out walking, and there's nothing on LJ today, so I was watching Rifftrax clips on YouTube ( Read more... )

lol geez. some of it was lame, but some of it was hilarious. i almost spit out my food with the 1950s batman show tune during the batman fight. i actually had that playing in my head when i first saw the dark knight, especially the fight scene at bruce's party. nahnahnahnahnahnah, batman! batman! wham! zoom! wack! bash!

The theme music was absolutely one of my favorite bits too! That and Morgan Freeman saying "Look, I know you're Batman. You don't have to do the voice."

lol yes! that was another favorite. :) and the fruit stand comment you first mentioned. that fit perfectly. it's going to mess me up when i watch dark knight again. but in a good way i think.

Even some truly awful films can't be saved by Rifftrax (I gave up on Beowulf, Twilight and Transformers).

I have seen some great Rifftrax for good films though...like Cloverfield (which remains my favorite Riff). :)

And there are tons of ridiculous films which I'm happy to watch repeatedly because of what Mystery Science Theater has done to pep them up!
