I've been doing that coming up on three years ever since I joined a Final Fantasy forum, and started going to its chatroom on mIRC. I know what you are feeling somewhat, but not entirely. For me it was a way to connect or relate to people like me, which I was not able offline. Now things are different, yet I still go to the forums and the chatroom.

If you could only rid yourself of all the "u" for "you" and shorting words and the likes. Heh
