Chicks Dig Time Lords. Intriguing title. Any good?

It's a series of essays and interviews about women in Doctor Who and Doctor Who fandom. Reading them, I've definitely been interested in watching more of the original episodes and even potentially going to a fan convention. It's a lot of geeky fun, but it gets a bit repetitive after a while: yay Doctor Who! Yay fandom! Yay women in fandom!

As someone who's not as familiar with the earlier years (anything before the recent incarnation), I would have liked more background in the essays and interviews with people involved in the series/fandom earlier on, but that's not really the purpose of the collection.
