But doesn't Starbuck realize that this strike is costing people their livelihoods?? Not the writers, the well paid celebrities are taking care of them. What about all of the small actors and production staff who are now jobless, some possibly going to become homeless, if the strike goes on much longer??

While I do agree that there are many people that the strike affects, I disagree with your statement that the writers are taken care of. As far as has been released on www.unitedhollywood.com; the late show hosts, as well as Jon Stewart and Steven Colbert, are taking care of their people, but thats it. So the vast majority of writers are out as well, even more so if they did any writing/production dual roles.

Is the strike hurting people, yes. Are the demands of the writers completely reasonable, yes. It is my considered opinion that the AMPTP is out to get more profits by denigrating the little guy.

And, I think I should videolog Starbuck more. I think this turned out well.

I suppose no one remembers that Starbucks charged the firemen for water on 9/11. That fact somehow always gets brushed under the rug.

I will not support or buy Starbucks products due to this fact.
