Well if there's an infinate amount of chances for something to happen then eventually it will happen-no matter how small the likelihood.

That there are infinite instances of you and I as well?
And infinite possibilities and instances of the same exact things that have happened to us in this life to then happen in the the same planet(s) that developed exactly how this one did, happened to the other instances of us but, they could have made the opposite decisions or decision that we have made at one point, or many points in our lives, and the same ones at some point and different at others, meaning, if we could see these other instances we might know how our lives turned out if the other options were chosen instead of the ones that brought us here?
