Hooray! Standard poodles are badass! Are you planning to rescue or buy from a breeder?

Poor papillon, I hope he finds a good home.

For the time being she is going to keep the Papillon (she is already his 2nd home) and see if things get better and if someone else comes along who might be a good home for him. If his problem is with other dogs, I can't imagine my house would have been the right solution anyway. :)

Of course I would want to rescue our poodle (preferably a 6-12mos dog), but my parents are of a different mindset. They think that to really get to know and become attached to a dog you have to raise them from 6-8wks (Spencer we got when he was probably younger than that). While we all adore our rescue April, they say that Spencer and Mackenzie are from "our blood". HA!

Of course I started that trend by saying that since I raised Mackenzie by myself that she was my "flesh and blood" since our bond is/was so strong in college. But who knows. No one wants to deal with pissing/pooping puppies, so hopefully I'll convince them to rescue. :)

I love Paps, too. They are such intelligent dogs. I tend to stay away froma ny breed that requires brushing though.
