Dad just brought up the puppy while I was eating dinner and I mentioned how the theme of the litter was children's literature and that was why I had been calling her Charlie. Now you've got me thinking about all my favorite children's books. :)
Secret Garden (Mary? Martha? Those sort of suck.)
Ramona Quimby (Ramona?)
Any of the Paddington books--I think Paddington would be a cute call name for a bitch!
Wind in the Willows (Willow?)
You could name her after a Harry Potter book and call her Bella, except that Rowling's Bella is evil. :( Or you could name her Beauty and the Beast and call her Bella, except that that's not really a BOOK, plus you might end up with a dog with a split personality. You don't HAVE to make the call name related to the registered name, though. Look at Joey--his registered name is (embarrassingly enough) Smokeless Wardance. And Kiwi is Kahlua And Cream. (Ugh! Both of them were named by their breeders.) If I were you, I'd pick out the call name first and then the registered name.

Plus all the lists I make of names are ALWAYS for males. Even when I got Mackenzie (my mom named her btw) I had no idea what to name a female.
Some of my favorite names for a dog:
Heartbreaker
Strut (cause I'm a marching band nerd)
Maniac Magee
Riot
London
Preppy (saved by the bell)
Sodapop (the outsiders)
I guess maybe that whole "get to know the puppy before you name them" thing might be true after all.

I totally want a dog named Treehorn, but it might get laughed out of the dog park.
