Christmas Troubles?

Enzan went back and forth in his mind about Christmas. He never celebrated the holiday before but at the moment there were three gifts just sitting on their coffee table. Two from his younger alternate when he first came by to talk, and then a gift basket from a Dark Blues. The one Enzan knew wouldn't definitely not send a gift basket, unless it was some sort of trap. But Blues knew the Dark Blues his younger alternate was close to, yet the gift basket had both their names. The pink and purple cellophane made it a little hard to see what was actually in the gift basket...the coloring wasn't exactly 'Christmas-like' was it?

The struggle Enzan was having was whether he should get something for Blues or not. It was always nice to have an excuse to do something different for Blues but what if Blues didn't get him anything? Would Blues feel bad about it? Enzan wouldn't care but Blues might feel bad about not having anything in return. Now if Enzan didn't get Blues something and Blues got something for him, he would feel absolutely horrible.

So that meant he needed to get something for Blues. But what?

It had to be something Blues wouldn't buy for himself, that was a given. Or what would the point be? If he got something simple, say chocolates or candy, maybe Blues wouldn't really feel bad if he didn't have something to give in return. Maybe in flowers. But then, what if Blues got something for Enzan that took a lot of thought and care into it or was even personalized? Chocolates wouldn't match up.

Maybe Enzan was thinking too much into this.

He had been wanting to ask Blues if they should exchange gifts or not but with Blues being sick, Enzan's focus had been on taking care of Blues...

Finally! An idea. It was the perfect gift. If Blues didn't have anything in exchange, Enzan could use the excuse that Blues needed this regardless. It is something that could help bring the energy back after getting over a cold, because even after recovering from a cold, sometimes a person would still feel drained. It was also something Blues wouldn't get for himself, more unique, would break up their everyday routine, and was just for Blues.

Not something you could wrap exactly, so an envelope would have to do. On it he wrote "To: Blues, Love: Enzan" and added a little red bow in the corner.

It was placed with the other gifts on the coffee table.
