Science doesn't change or mutate, it's man's understanding that changes and evolves with Science's help. It is the perfect example and perfect rules that we follow, the God and Bible of the thinking man, not a tool for his use. It's the hunger for knowledge and understanding, for innovation, not the results its self. They carry the adjective 'scientific' but can not be called science its self. Science is reality, reality defined, explained, neither subjective or an illusion.

Would you believe you're the first to ask me that? Even though a number of people have asked for completed technology from me?

[ She pauses, as if choosing the right words. ] My interest is in a number of scientific fields including quantum mechanics, engineering and chemistry. Vocationally, I am a personal assistant.

Technology, interesting. Perhaps you'd be interested in an exchange.

Yes, useful fields all, but I find it wanting without an understanding of the human mind.

An exchange could be arranged, depending on what you're looking for.

I agree, but that tends to be a science that everyone practices, don't you think? Every day exchanges can present new data, even in this place where humanity doesn't necessarily mean human.

Actually, I'm interested in something that might alter the subatomic properties of an object. Nothing drastic, simple altercations like say, velocity.

So I've learned.

That's a very interesting idea, Mr. Goodchild. I have a small ongoing project of my own that might benefit from research on the same topic. I would love to collaborate to help you with your efforts, and in turn use any developed techniques in my own efforts. I hope that would be alright with you.

Excellent. I believe we might be able to impact the city.

May I be so bold to ask the nature of your project?

Wonderful. I would like to meet with you in person to discuss the details.

I can't exactly disclose that. Proprietary information and all. My boss is within the city as well and if I were to lose my job... Well, there's no telling how I might react to something like that. No use thinking about the hypothetical.

Of course. My line of work requires confidence as well--national security, you know.

Where would I meet you?
