Where: The Nemesis When: Tuesday Who: Caroline, Starscream, and Cabrakan What: The free standing portal device is good for rescuing all her friends. Warnings: Talking about autobots behind their back.
You humans do not understand. No prisoners. Only trophies. And as long as we are in power, Optimus will still rise up.
[He shys his face away, giving a pout.]
My reason for killing Optimus is strictly business. I want proof that I -can- kill him. Something Megatron has not done. If I can accomplish that...then I would be Lord Starscream.
I hate to interrupt, but I should be leaving. You two obviously have a lot to discuss. [ Her free standing portal device on, Caroline takes a few brave steps towards Cabrakan in order to leave out the hanger. ]
It stayed quiet until Caroline finished, a little curious as to how, exactly, she would leave the hangar without a safe transport to the Forest pit below. It interjected, dropping the previous topic:
"You bear the impatience of a short-lived species. Your presence here has it's value, human."
The alien lights forming what appeared to be eyes seemed to be fixated on the woman as she stepped towards it.
"I'm curious as to how the burning distaste for humans seemed to have mysteriously vanished in this partnership. The Mechanism appears to bear a softened heart."
I'm more or less a pet, really. I see someone worth serving. I received the distress signal as well and arrived earlier.
[ She sounded absolutely sincere in all that she said. While she certain held herself in higher regard than that, she did see worth in working with Starscream. ]
"We have observed your kind since it's ascent from organic chaos, and are well aware of your motivations. Humans despise surrendering control of their futures, they do not 'look' for masters."
It was intrigued further that Starscream was even attempting defend her - playing down her worthiness to draw attention away.
"There's safety in the service of a worthy master. I also believe in Lord Starscream's philosophies, and I'm sure you know of humanity's willingness to defend ideas and beliefs."
"Not so much an issue as a curiosity that you've managed to forsake your fanatical distate enough to convince this human to work against her own interests." that, and it was quite hungry for a biological template at the moment, one it had been lacking due to the scarcity of Ink City's population.
The sight had been a mildly startling surprise, it still had more observation to prescribe to these creatures to further understand them without the ease of simply slipping one to their own causes.
As I mentioned before, serving Lord Starscream is in my best interest. I have a great deal of work to do for my master, so again, I'd like to leave.
[ She was glad that she had found Starscream first and saved him the embaressment of being found that way by another mechanical looking life form. Saving him a little face by acting as his servant didn't hurt either. What the new robot thought of her wasn't any concern of hers. ]
[ The woman also had an air of confidence as she spoke, no longer afraid or startled by Cabrakan. She even had the audacity to take a few steps forward as if to walk past Cabrakan and out of the hanger. ]
"Your act is mildly amusing, human. I'm sure you will sequester plenty of useful resources from your "master"."
If only their subservience were so easy to acquire, it would have made their own harvest much more simple. It was obvious now that this was some sort of fabrication. While Starscream's race was still a mystery, the motives and psychology of humankind was something it was well versed in - and her behavior did not add up.
In the end, it didn't matter much what they wanted it to think of their relationship - the probing was a mere product of it's want to know. It let her pass. She would be traversing the desolate forest for some time now, and that was a more important matter to attend to before she managed to reach the city limits.
The attention was brought back to Starscream for the moment,"A democratic race would consent together in unity. Humans impose their will on each other, much like your kind."
[ She manages past and aims her gun below, close enough into the trees to be able to find a branch to stand on before replacing the portals. Once one was set in the canopy, she placed one in front of her and stepped through. The portal she left through soon disappeared once it was replaced on the ground. After that, all there was left to do was contact Ava and wait for her to arrive and escort her back out of the forest. ]

Cabrakan levitated in a little farther to properly align itself with the machine, unable to assume it's vertical position from inside the bay.
"Not of your faction, but nonetheless a figurehead for your species. It must be frustrating to have him invade your home and escape unscathed."

Yes...A being such as myself has a hard time with minuscule things like a communicator, you see, Cabrakan. A slave is not so odd, is it?

There is one thing Optimus Prime trusts, and that is a human being. Do you see where I am going with this?

There are some humans who just...don't agree with their own kind. They're a very democratic race, aren't they?
