Check out this Engrish siteSome of the items, especially T-shirt slogans, are pure nonsense but still sort of funny in an odd way. I LOVE that site. Never fails to make me laugh my ass off. One of my favorites is a warning sign above a doorknob that says "AUTO ROCK." I always thought that'd make a great album cover.

I used to live in southwest Kansas, which has a small but significant southeast Asian population because of the packing plants.

I love ethnic food, so I shopped in the Asian groceries a lot.

One of the cans of this or that vegetable (I forget which) had the best Engrish brand name ever.

The trademark was a copyright-violated Porky Pig, standing triumphantly with hands on hips atop the globe.

And the name?

Victorious Piggy.

Someday, one of my short stories will have a band named "Victorious Piggy" in it.
