Where: The Nemesis

Who: Caroline and Starscream
What: It's been well over a week since Caroline was captured and still she hasn't answered Megatron's questions. Starscream is sent to try to coax some compliance from her.
Warnings: Possible torture

The hatch to the prisoner hold opened, the familiar clicking of Starscream's heels soon following, echoing through the cold, dark room. It was an unsettling sound, as the giant paced in, looking at his own claw while doing so. He seemed to be his usual self, grumpy and agitated, the normal when Megatron had control back home. That didn't stop him from being covertly pleasant, as he treated his returning Lord with respect and admiration (after all, he hadn't noticed his most recent betrayal, why spoil the surprise?). However, he was back to being the lapdog, and as such, had to follow orders.

"I hope you've found your stay quite pleasant, Caroline. I see Soundwave has been giving you rations. Excellent~"

His voice, as slippery and conniving as ever...even when irritated he found the time to put a smile (however fake it may be) on his face.

She only offered him a side glance before going back to twirling her hair around her fingers.

"It's been relaxing. A vacation, really." Her voice was quiet and without any sort of edge or emotion at all. It sounded foreign even to her own ears. "You've been busy? You've been leaving your pet for Soundwave to take care of. I was beginning to think you didn't care."

Starscream paces around the cage, hands behind his back as he listens to her. He had to admit her cold tone was different, but it's not like this is new territory for him. PEOPLE SOUNDING UPSET? He's so surprised.

"Contrary to popular belief, fleshling, I am quite busy as of late. I do not have the time to provide for your biological needs, and if we weren't so short staffed (and if Breakdown didn't crush things on accident) it would have been the drones bringing you food."

His claw reaches up to his chin, thinking.

"Speaking of my work, this isn't a chance to catch up on old times. I'm here strictly on Lord Megatron's orders. He believes that you will be most cooperative with me."

"Oh?" She lowers her working hand to her lap. She already knew the outcome of this. She wasn't going to give him any information, and he wouldn't fail in front of him commander. But. It was so nice to have some sort of mental stimulation. Might as well enjoy it while she could.

Caroline sits up a little more, flinching only when the movement causes pain to shoot up her leg and down her broken arm.

"I know you're going to do your best, and I've seen how persuasive you can be. How are we going to begin? Bargains first?"
