I did the program a few years ago. I'm bad at remembering numbers, but 40 spots sounds wrong. It was closer to 20. And it seems like it was relatively easy to get in, at that time. They even extended the application deadline or something that year. It may have gotten more competitive, as more people learned about the program.

also if say you think your flatmate was maybe kinda getting it on and maybe not, would you:

a: totally try to distinguish moans from, say weird exhalation of air
b: totally can't ever keep your lunch down again
or c: both?

also, i like getting on lj when i've had about 1 hour of sleep. it makes my typing pretty.
