Planning the Adventure

After many false starts, Nicole and I are finally starting to get our act together for our epic road trip adventure. Here's the map as it looks so far-- we're thinking about leaving on August 24th. Here's the map as it stands:

Ack! We'll have just left! Christina just made it down here too! She's my next door neighbor for two weeks, then I leave. This sucks! Hmm...maybe we'll be back in Eugene for a day or so during the time you're here. We'll at least be in Portland...or biking along the coast...hmm...well, we'll see.

Yup. Had trouble getting ahold of you the last time we were through... We'll be passing through SJ twice, actually, once on the way into Salinas and then again as we leave-- something like late on the 28th or mid-day on the 1st. Preferences?

Drats and Curses

I will be tragically lagging you, with no chance of crossed paths - for reference I'll be leaving Yellowstone on September 5th.

After Yellowstone, you'll essentially be rewinding the path I'm taking (minus a detour to Minneapolis) so I can advise on any awesome sights when my trip is done.

Will you just be traveling slower than we will? Could we hold a day somewhere (Chicago, maybe?) and run into you that way?
