Last week, Nicole and I carefully cleaned our shared desk in the grad office. It is now exceptionally tidy, with only a few post-it notes, some tiny toys, and our pair of coffee mugs to clutter the space. So I came in today and settled into the desk. Hot tea: check. Lappy plugged in: check. Desk lamp: click. No light. Check that it's plugged
