I don't know anything about New Hampshire but if I was in your shoes I'd check out this site http://www.bikely.com/listpaths/country/254/region/151 It's been helpful in Japan and is a good starting point for planning a ride, I think.
1. You must borrow my copy of "What About Bob?" to watch since you're going to be right by Lake Winnipeasauke 2. I know this isn't technically in New Hampshire, but Harald and I had some really nice hikes in the Adirondacks 3. Vermont is supposed to have some pretty damn nice hot springs, too, which I have again never been to, but friends of mine from Montreal used to take road trips down to go to the hot springs and raved about it...
