Im so glad to hear that you had a wonderful time; reading your review is making me crave a show here all the more.....just the way you described it....its exactly how I feel at their shows....*sigh*

Very cool that you got to meet Jeff as well...did you speak to him at all? Or just sign the auto?

If you can get up here in the summer we definately should go to a show...up front, the whole bit. Its even better up there. :)

Dammit, this close to caving and getting a bootleg of the Aus tour. Or hopping a plane and flying down there. *L* Desire to hear Mantra live is drivine me insane, tearing me apart.

They played The Badger????? Awesome...never heard them play that one...CSOL is also pretty rare....but Correspondences???!?!

*is reduced to whimpering*

They just get in...and they never let go.....you dont want to let it go...to let things go back to how they used to be, you know?

*ends trying to be all poetic on minimal sleep*

The instrument that he played during Interzone that he waves his hand around an antannae is called a theramin (old Russian instrument from the turn of the century), and the lute type thing before Halcyon Days is an egyptian guitar called an oud. The song itself is either 'Rakim' or 'Zahira', a Dead Can Dance cover.

I know waayyy too much....*chuckle*

Zahira. Definately Zahira. It was so hypnotic.
