Apparently, I have single-handedly exceeded the family bandwidth allowance. I think that actually makes me an addict.

Things of a happy-making nature:

1. To Buy or Not to Buy. My daytime television OTP is back and just as adorable and handsy as ever. Kristian Digby and Ed Hall, never change.

2. My landlady phoned me today, and I'm getting my ( Read more... )

I haven't even started my Big Bang yet, and probably won't get the chance until next week. OH NOES.

I'm glad you have some things of a happy-making nature to post about! :D

I am currently taking incredible pleasure in describing an horrific alien crime scene. This probably says something about my current state of mind...

Also, I have Much using a Geiger counter because I like them, I don't know if Torchwood would actually use that kind of technology...

(Ignore that last comment. I accidentally double-pressed the 'TAB' button).

gnhjlgkh I'm so excited for your Big Bang, you have no idea. SO, SO EXCITED. Geiger counters are the little bleepy-clicky things they used to measure radiation, right? I'm sure they'll be fine. Nobody will be paying that much attention to tiny details like that, anyway.

Except me, of course, and I won't care.

I've started writing little bits of dialogue for my Big Bang, but I don't... I don't know how to tie it all together. I want to aim for one big, unifying arc, kind of like they have on the show, but I have NO IDEA what it should be. Right now all I've got is: "The gang grieves, but is awesome. Blamire does some bad things, and it maybe has a happy ending". I did think that maybe the unifying arc could be something to do with paying Richard's ransom - like, maybe there's a plot by the good guys to raise money to do that, or something. But oh god, I have no idea. *freaks out*

EEE! Except I'm really, really out of practice with prose so I'm highly conscious of it at the moment. Except the horror scenes, they're going quite well :)

Yeah, and they clack faster the more radiation there is. I can't even remember when I started liking them so much, but it's the threat of them suddenly going bananas that I enjoy. :D

(I had a total crisis about it early on in the new Torchwood series. But then I figured, I need the Hub if nothing else, so total AU it is! :D)

Oooh, I like the idea of raising money for the ransom. That ties it nicely, plot-wise, to the end of S3. And I guess Blamire will need to establish himself as the new sheriff - how evil is he? And GANG! I'm sad there will be no more gang shenanigans on my TV, so your fic makes me happy. And if you want to fling around some plot ideas, I'm inkblot_fiend on AIM, or just PM me :)

*fails so badly* my fic is non-existent right now. I really need to step up a gear- get cracking on hardcore writing tomorrow. Oh! Did you watch that last episode of Personal Affairs?

I DID! It was so cracky and perfect. And I may have been ridiculously happy that Sid got with Rock and there were fireworks. :D

What are you planning to write?

Me too, me too! I could have done with more of that whacked out animation and random dream sequences that they had in the first few episodes, but I take what I'm given. Another series, perhaps? With that little bit at the end in the airport being the main plot? *is hopeful*

Robin Hood... IN SPACE.

Yes! I loved that first episode, where you saw the PAs from each of the bosses' perspectives. I'd love another series - was that supposed to be Sid going to meet the in-laws?

OMG YES AWESOME.
