Things here seem to have returned to some kind of equilibrium. Compromises have been made, water is passing under the bridge. I breathe a huge sigh of relief.

In other news, I went to town with my mum today, and I have NEW CLOTHES. Also, shoes that don't have holes in! I ran afoul of a labelling disaster, though, as one skirt I bought in a sale had ( Read more... )

I absolutely love The Vesuvius Club! The Devil in Amber is also great, if not at quite the same standard. The third book, The Black Butterfly, is brillian too!

Robin Hood Cricket!AU would be ridiculous, but also kind of awesome...

I remembered how much I like cricket. It has lots of crazy new terms, but on the whole, it's awesome. Especially when England is GOOD AT IT.

It is wonderful when we're doing well for a change isn't it?
