Most of you know about the orchestra trouble by now... those that don't it's a long and involved story. Suffice it to say that the music department hired a new orchestra director at the end of last term to take over from Mark (the absolute best conductor I have ever worked with). I'd say quit. If he really does make you nervous you shouldn't be working with him. And it's not worth the lowered grades caused by the stress of an ongoing intolerable situation.

Hi Honey!!

I think the last item, if you stay, should read, "I am the Orchestra Martyr" -- that isn't supposed to be offensive -- I've been playing word games with Mer and Jesse and Marko all night... :)

I'd drop it -- you have alternatives -- you made a commitment to the orchestra, sure, but you made it in different circumstances, and were pretty clear that this would be a dealbreaker. So, the deal is broken. Take care of yourself and join an orchestra that you actually enjoy...

Beckie asked me that last night. I think I would still be too frustrated with how he is running the orchestra to remain; him asking us to do the work is only half of the problem.
