Avatar Sorta Review

Avatar is spectacle. It's about an inch deep, but it's pretty as hell. They really did an amazing job integrating the human actors with the CGI environment. I left feeling meh about it though.

I really like your analysis of the Colonel. As I'm sure you noticed that I mentioned in my review, I didn't really go for the story. I found myself tending to care for the characters only vaguely in a 'humans vs. na'vi' sense. As such, I wasn't really paying attention to the characters. But now that you point it out, I can see the interesting characterization in the Colonel.

I also really enjoyed your idea for the sequels.
