Poor Kei. T.T I really can't wait to see what happens next. I'm really wondering how much sanity he has left.

Not a whole lot, I'm afraid. Thanks for reviewing!

This is like.. so.. disturbing and oppressive, but still so realistically written, that it's almost beautiful how Kei creates these other personalities to cope with the situation eventhough they're more like nuisance than releaf.

I just hope from the bottom of my heart that all of this turns for the better because I'm a sucker for happy endings and love Kei too much <3

I always need to hold myself back when I read reviews like yours, because I would love to deal out spoilers, but I try not to ;)
We already talked about it, but thank you so much again for your review *hugs* It means a lot to me.

I will suffocate.

Kei chuckles, a cruel way of mocking me.

“And you still won't die...”

Ow, that's harsh! With each chapter I feel more and more sorry for Kei. The way you're writing his sanity slipping away is really good!

My favorite part was with Kei tearing his own skin, and drinking his own blood. It just shows how much he is loosing it.

Poor Kei... I'm really excited for more - it's so interesting. I love the way you portrayed Kei's insanity. It was frightening but so good.

amazing. sickening and fascinating.
the length of the chapter perfectly conveys that s.l.ow. process of poor kei losing it. as always, the flow of words is great and although theres no real action going on, i never grow tired of reading on and on. great chapter! :)

i am still trying to find out though what the difference between "kei" and the narrating character is. you know - the vampire is the cruel part, the monster within. but "who" is "kei"? what part does he represent, which character traits set him apart from the narrator? the story works fine too without this being fleshed out, im just being curious here ;)

Hm, as far as the difference between Kei and the narrator are concernec... I think it's something ever changing. "Kei" is whoever Kei needs him to be, if that makes sense. Sometimes he is that part of himself, the personality he wants to preserve deep down in the hopes that one day Sho's soul might be reborn, find him and dig up what he once was so they can be together again - but that is only wishful thinking on his part right now. Sometimes "Kei" is his sanity, which he is trying to push away. Sometimes "Kei" is his humanity. Does that make sense to you? "Kei" is always something Kei needs and wants to push away, something he wants gone and tries to preserve at the same time. I know it's not really noticable, but it will make more sense over the course of the story.
And once again thank you for the review and your support *hugs*
