♥ Nintendo's just lovely, seriously.
Now, who was it who was told not to discuss his hobbies in interviews anymore, because every time he started doing something new, he brought it over to the Wii or other consoles (got a dog, loved it, bring out Nintendogs! Need to work out more, oh, hey, let's bring sports and workouts to our games~).

IIRC, Zelda was created out of his childhood hobby of exploring caves. Pikmin was created after he took up gardening.
It's all so weird XD They just make games they seem to like and everyone buys millions of copies...I mean let's recap:
Animal Crossing: Creator of the series comes from a small village and was homesick when he moved to Kyoto to work for Nintendo, so he creates a village simulator!
Pokemon: Creator loved collecting and fighting Kabuto beetles, so he makes a monster training game!
Captain Rainbow: I....I have no idea what they were smoking when they made this game.
