It truly scares me how much we actually share in common, LOL..I should have met up with you LONG before now according to my calculations..

Didja know...I love funky socks?
**I have over twenty five pairs of sock of great obnoxous natures.

Didja know...I type 85 wpm?
**83 WPM.

Didja know...I love zoos and will spend hours at the hippo exhibit?
**Once, I stayed till it closed down. I was fourteen, and tried to hide in the ladies bathroom so I could see what they did when it was dark.

Now, I have to ask..what is Hork? LOL

my maternal grandfather and his sister escaped being caught by hiding under a truck and then running and hiding time and time again till they made their way to the US at the tender ages of 14 & 16 respectfully.

Wow, that's incredible! Thanks for sharing. :]

My family is mostly from E. Hamburg area and southern Germany. A few fled the country (to the states) before Hitler gained power completely, but most of them stayed and fought for their country. I wonder sometimes though, did they fight for him, or really for their country? It is said that you either fought or were killed back then, but who really knows. An unbelievable time and hard to believe that thousands upon thousands could be "hypnotized" by one man.
