I am not a passionate sport person, not enamored with American Partriotic Love Our Team spirit.
I think sports are fantastic, ways to bring nations together, and show some magnificent human beauty.

I wrote an entry about this doping thing. Personally I do feel athletes should be au naturel, but the government spends WAY too much time worrying about the ones who have taken things, and that's...well, nearly all of the famous sports figures. They spent three million dollars trying to figure out that yes, Lance Armstrong did do some performance enhancing things, but personally, what's worse? A sports figure who does a little doping like all the rest of them, or the bankers on Wall Street who stole our billions?

Agreed. I believe real sports would have no drugs at all. But it has become so saturated, I feel sorry for athletes ~not~ taking them trying to compete. Really, the man shouldn't be chained for that, you are that there are dozens of other people out there truly more evil.

I thnk the pressure to succeed is so intense some athlees do feel ike they have to do the drugs, you know? Especially in sports where winning could mean the difference between half a second or less!! I have to admit being really let down though when Marion Jones lost her medals. I think that's her name LOL I remember the first name Marion.
