McKain Looks Old

Call me shallow, but amid all the words spewed during the debate, my strongest impression was that McKain, tottering about with stiff motions, looks old. My guess is that "old" doesn't play well with John Q. Public, but who really knows?

He also seemed to have trouble breathing. And he had that thing where he kept saying "my friends" as if any of the people in the audience would be rich enough to hang with him and his set. He definitely looked uncomfortable and awkward. I don't think that this debate will "cost" him the election per se, but the fact that he had no ideas and nothing new to offer people is becoming impossible to ignore.

John McCain looks old because he is old. Seventy-two years old, in fact. If elected, he will be the oldest President, surpassing Ronald Reagan by about 2 years.
