Who: White Knight and Six What: White Knight is sick and caught Six's cold. When: Pre-Providence. Continued from here. Where: Knight's house. Warnings: CUDDLES
"I think they'd need one or two more bodies to pass through before I could be affected by this particular group again," Six commented dryly. He started leading them back towards Knight's bed. "I'll get you more tissues so you can spit out anything you cough up. It's disgusting but it helps. Plus I'll bring you some breakfast so you have more than just the mucous in your stomach."
Knight couldn't help but smirk. "When did you become an immunologist?"
He let Six lead him back to his bedroom and collapsed onto it, wanting to melt into the comforter right there. Just that walk to the bedroom and back had exhausted him, even with Six's support. Still, he found the strength to roll over onto his side and pull the covers over him.
"School of Hard Knocks. I'm working on a PhD from there," Six commented dryly.
Six tucked the covers about his partner, fussing but with none of the hesitance Knight had displayed earlier in the week. He didn't have as many issues with microbes.
Knight settled in, snuggling into the covers like a child. While Six was hard and stoic twenty-four-seven, Knight had no problems showing weakness in the privacy of his own home. The comforter was getting a little hot and he pushed it off quickly, grabbing his pillow and turning it over to get to the cold side.
He groaned. The cold felt good, but the change in sensation made his muscles ache again.
