You're lovely, I promise. And shouldn't you always trust an artist to tell you what is lovely? If other people back away, it's probably because they see you, completely honest and open you, and they just can't do it. Some people can't express things they think or feel much at all, and being around people who can, and do, loosens the dam. If they break, they wonder if people will appreciate the things inside?
Then again, to be less poetic, some teenagers are just fucking idiots.
