I can't recall who all wanted the recipe for the Make Your Own Laundry Detergent, but I'm pretty sure a lot of them were LJ friends, so I'm posting this here

What is washing soda and where would I find it?

I think the stuff my mom uses is Borax, but I think there is also an Arm & Hammer kind as well. I think you can find it in the detergent aisle in your grocery store or wherever you buy regular laundry detergent. A lot of people use for various things, though I've never used it myself.
