[TST] Edgeworth/Hijikata (+ SURPRIAZ GUEST)

Nov 16, 2009 15:16

This is the result of random AIM conversations with Neb. For once, I will take full responsibility of this drabble.

Hijikata often found himself liking his trips to the first mate's office nowadays. Mainly because he had the chance to spend sometime alone with one Miles Edgeworth even if it was just for a few short minutes at the best (they were quite precious during their missions when they had barely had enough time for themselves, let alone each other). What he liked more than anything else in those visits (even if he would never admit it) was those times when he was inexplicably pressed against the wall, unable to move or resist when Edgeworth leaned in and caught his lips, parting them and slipping his tongue into his mouth and kissing him until all he could think of was the other man and simply wanting more.

...just like now actually, as the boatswain forced himself to keep his own head on straight as the first mate broke off from having kissed him. Hijikata barely registered the folder that was on his feet, having slipped from his grasp when Edgeworth had suddenly just pinned him to the wall and kissed him senseless.

"...bastard," breathed out the swordsman, casting an utterly ineffective glare no thanks to the flush that had worked up to his cheeks.

Edgeworth only smirked, the expression on his face sending a spark of arousal shuddering down his spine as the silver-haired man leaned in, pressing lips to his own and all Hijikata could do was to groan softly as they kissed again. He tried to stay quiet (the other had constantly insisted on discretion, and the boatswain had to agree on his point) but it was always hard to remain silent when the first mate ran his hands under his jacket and over his shirt, teasing touches coupled with those lips and tongue and he groaned again and fuck was that a knee slipping between his legs--

Knock knock knock.

Both men immediately jumped, stopping in their tracks the moment those three knocks rang in the room, feeling their blood turning cold and fear pounding in their hearts. Hijikata himself took a moment to look over at Edgeworth, who looked somewhat jittered himself. There was silence, and then the knocking came once again (this time, only Hijikata was the one who jumped).

Knock knock knock.

"Commander? Are you there?"

The first mate's expression turned somewhat sour when he (as well as the boatswain) recognized just exactly who that voice belonged to. He gave the other a glance and took a moment to straighten himself up before he responded. "Yes. Come in, Curtiss."

The door opened right after that affirmative with Jade stepping into the room. Hijikata could have sworn that the bastard's eyes were looking in amusement at him in the first moments that he had stepped into the room, but he wasn't too sure about that since the long-haired man had soon turned his attention to the first mate and walked up to him, handing over the folder in his hand. "The documents you requested, sir. I had forgotten to pass them to you earlier."

Edgeworth seemed to look lost for a moment before his brain managed to make it click. "A-Ah, yes; I had nearly forgotten," he said as he reached out to take the file from the doctor. "Thank you, Curtiss."

Jade merely smiled at that. "Not a problem at all. Though I hope I didn't intrude on anything... private."

"O-Of course not!" Hijikata spluttered out before he could stop himself. "We were just--"

"--just discussing about the duties needed to be done tomorrow," the first mate helpfully finished the boatswain's statement. The samurai made the smart choice to shut himself up after that and nod in agreement to the other's line.

"I see." Was it just him, or were the doctor's eyes twinkling with those words?

The silver-haired man then cleared his throat. "If that is all, Curtiss, I suggest that you leave. Hiji--the Major and I still have some unfinished business to discuss."

"Certainly," Jade responded with his usual cheer as he turned around and started to make his way out of the room. Both men were almost convinced that they were in the clear when the doctor then paused at the doorway and turned around to face the boatswain. "Oh, and Major?"

"...yes?" started the samurai, wondering what was it that the other was about to say.

"Next time, do at least try to look more dignified. At least for the Commander, if not anyone else~"

The look on Hijikata's face upon that line was priceless as the doctor smiled once more and turned back to properly leave the room, making very sure to shut the door behind him.
