Hello hello everyone! We're back with the Inks!
You know, I thought that working full time would be easier than school full time + work part time. Somehow, I was wrong. XD Therefore I spend more time sleeping and less time simming.
Last time, the epic world tour kicked off with a trip to Egypt! There was plenty of sightseeing by our teenaged heroes, even ending with the rescue of a princess! Well, if you consider the fragile heiress Isis a princess for Noah to rescue. They agreed to date when everyone was back in Riverview - Stella promised the same to Seth, providing she is single then. France was visited, where Levi and Rhyme agreed to get married in China. Abel bonded with Kira to take her mind off of abuse by Reese...but at the end of the day, she decided to keep her distance.
Alright, it's time for more concert picspam, more partying picspam, and that plot twist that I've left dangling for quite some time now!

Ah, Bridgeport. Land of mystery and adventure, in the words of Abel. It hadn't been very long since they had been here - just half a year or so - but the city still had that same glamor.
The first order of business was the concert!
One of the classier lounges had allowed them to play on their balcony, with cameras set up to broadcast the concert to the people watching below.
This being their fourth major concert, the quads were relaxed as they played. They knew their songs and they knew their fans, so the whole thing was pretty easy!
Ten songs later, Nicotine Dreams had completely won over the audience~
Of course, the crowd loved Blue Amnesia as well! Seeing both bands live in concert was way better than just hearing them on the radio, since Eclipse Records wasn't big on editing. Your record sounds just like you do live or you get out of their studio!
Reese and Kira were on top of their game as well. Reese was determined not to lose to Nicotine Dreams, and Kira didn't want to disappoint him.
They finished spectacularly, ending the Bridgeport concert on a high note. This city wouldn't forget these bands, that's for sure.

And after the show is the after party! Specifically, the VIP party hosted by Simteen Magazine!
And, considering that it was the quadruplets' eighteenth birthday, might as well make it a birthday party too!
The VIP fans were out in full force to celebrate.
Everyone had their own wish, but telling would be a jinx, wouldn't it?
It was time for generation five to become adults!
Abel, of course, was first.
"Um, am I supposed to be seeing red sparkles?"
Abel had always been the type to take care of others, so it was no surprise that he remained just as nurturing as an adult. He had to make sure everyone was happy when he was around!
"Hey, I've finally grown into my fangs! I was getting tired of biting my lip all the time."
Noah was next in line.
And, for some reason, things just started to go his way. Noah normally didn't consider himself as particularly lucky, but now he was finding luck on his side more often than not. Although, considering that he survived all that ghost hunting without too much damage, perhaps he's been lucky all along...?
It still looked like it took some luck to get him to actually smile, though.
Third is Seth! Hey, maybe he'd get around to growing his fangs, huh?
And that he did! Along with adulthood came a new appreciation for the outdoors for Seth, perhaps from all that adventuring they did in Egypt and France. But considering that he was an adult vampire now, most of that outdoor appreciation would have to occur at night.
Seth's full vampire powers awakened now too. Not as strong as his older brothers, but time would tell if they would be more useful...
Last but not least, we have Sparrow!
Sparrow managed to grow out her hair for a much more mature look. Along with this maturity came an odd new hobby - even though Row had always been interested in plants and the outdoors, she found herself working with computers more and more to keep up with her hobby (she had to order rare seeds from somewhere, right?). She eventually got better than her brothers when it came to technology!
And yes, she still looked heartbreakingly like Clover. She always would.
Shortly after that, the quads were stunned to find that they had won three separate awards! Firstly, their first album, City Lights Are Fireflies, went platinum, selling over one million copies!
They also found that their second single from that album, Shadow of the Wisteria Tree, had won a Teen Choice Award, and the music video for that song voted "Most Delightfully Dark", whatever that meant. But still! Awards!

What followed next was a VIP party so epic that it can only be described through a montage of random pictures. So, without further ado, the Bridgeport after party, presented to you with limited commentary!
Nicotine Dreams set up a request session and played whatever the crowd wanted! They played everything from Bohemian Rhapsody to Thriller and back, as well as plenty of their own songs! When someone requested Free Bird though, Noah shot them down.
Noah decided that the party was decidedly lacking alcohol, which he remedied by tending the bar for an hour or so.
He quickly gained an audience - namely, Rachyl and Melissa.
Noah struck up a conversation with Rachyl, who told him all about this lovely place called Aoi Island. Noah wasn't quite sure where that was, but it sounded like a nice place to be! She insisted that if he was ever in town to look up a family called the Aspens...
Melissa was less than pleased that Rachyl was getting all of Noah's attention.
But she got time to meet him too! She was clearly very excited, babbling on about the wonders of mac and cheese. People love to talk about their favorite foods, huh?
The rest of the band was off socializing as well, with Abel talking to a girl named Jennifer! She was very pleasant, but she seemed rather insistent that he should meet some girls from the Evans family one day. Abel wasn't quite sure what she meant by that...
Abel then drifted to Ava, who was just as friendly as him, if you can imagine it! She had a good sense of humor too, laughing at Abel's poorly executed jokes.
Seth managed to be social after being encouraged by Sparrow, striking up a conversation with Diamond. They were both virtuosos, so they mostly were huge music nerds, talking about musical theory that no one else got.
It was quite the party. Hopefully most of those involved would remember it the next morning.
Abel ended up telling a ghost story somewhere around two am, dimming the lights and doing the dramatic flashlight-in-face trick.
The story must've been pretty scary...
...or it could have just been Abel. Those eyes could crash an airplane, good god.
--- --- --- --- ---
There was one VIP, whoever, who wasn't as interested in Nicotine Dreams.
Reese was quite irritated that this after party was rather ND-centric. He suspected that Simteen's readers just didn't appreciate good music...
"Hey, Reese?"
Reese looked up to see a young woman smiling at him, fidgeting slightly.
"H-hello. I'm Leiken. I entered the contest to meet you!"
Ah, now he remembered. She was the only one of his fans to win the contest, wasn't she?
"I was wondering if I could keep you company." she continued. "Since you don't seem to be enjoying yourself, maybe talking to me would help?"
Reese assessed her briefly, making a checklist in his head. Cute. Unlikely to cause too much trouble no matter what he did. Plus, Kira wasn't around...not that it would matter if she was.
"You can do more than keep me company, Leiken." he murmured, standing. "How would you like to be my girl for the night?"
She hesitated but couldn't keep a nervous smile off of her face. "Won't Kira mind?"
"Do you see her around? C'mere - forget about everything else."
Well, Leiken couldn't deny that offer. She had a lot of things that she would rather forget.
And, well, the club wasn't all that big.
Seeing your boyfriend cheat on you in public is probably not on the list of things you want to see on your birthday.
"What the HELL Reese?! You promised that you wouldn't pull this shit in public!" Kira raged.
Reese disengaged from Leiken for a few seconds to glance at Kira disparagingly, roll his eyes and return his attention to making out.
"REESE!! At least acknowledge me, you bastard!!" she hissed.
No response - she might as well have not been there.
Kira hated this. No matter how horrible Reese was to her, at least she never cheated. Was it really too much to ask that if he was going to do this, do it where she couldn't see it?
But she knew what he was saying. 'You're not worth trying for.'
And she knew exactly why she wasn't worth it.
By all but one account, it was a lovely party.
--- --- --- --- ---
It was maybe five in the morning when Rhyme realized that Sparrow had slipped away from the main party. She found her upstairs, looking unwell.
"Sparrow? Row honey, what's wrong?"
"Nothing, I think." Sparrow mumbled. "I probably shouldn't have had anything to drink."
Rhyme's brow furrowed - Row had had hardly anything at all. Certainly not enough to warrant her pale, sickly appearance.
"Maybe you should lie down." Rhyme said gently. "Some sleep would be good, you've had a long day..."
"I probably should. I just can't help but feel something's..."
"Something's wrong with me."
It was happening again.
Rhyme had hoped that she had been imagining things, since she hadn't seen the signs in eight years. But this was...
"Rhyme?" Sparrow said, confused. "What is it?"
"I...you..." Rhyme didn't even know where to begin.
Sparrow went to ask again, but suddenly her throat was dry. Painful.
"I'm going for a short walk." Sparrow whispered hoarsely. "The air here must be doing something weird to my throat..."
"Wait, Row, don't-!"
But Sparrow had already made up her mind, gone before Rhyme could finish her sentence.
Nausea.
Burning pain...
...crawling up her throat.
Unnatural speed.
Fangs.
Memories rushing back, nights on end of wondering what was happening, of rejecting herself and a kind boy...
Sparrow knew what she was.
A vampire.
Because now she had everything Junco had.
Sparrow wasn't sure she could keep it together, but she knew someone who would, no matter what. Good thing she had his phone number. He'd be awake at five in the morning, right?
"Tyler? Hey it's...it's Sparrow. Sparrow...and Junco."
"Whoa! So it happened?!"
"Yeah. Probably since it's my birthday. Can't say I expected it to be like this." she responded, her voice wavering.
"Sparrow? It's okay Row. Deep breaths, calm down. You're still the same as you've always been."
"I'm not so sure about that." she whispered. "I mean, I'm not freaking out like I thought I would, since you spent all that time preparing me. Still, I can't help wondering if I'm on the edge of snapping or something."
"You're not going to snap, Row." Tyler assured her. "Haven't I told you a million times? You are Junco, and Junco is a perfectly controlled vampire."
"I wish you could be here right now, telling me again."
Tyler chuckled. "Hey Row...look up."
"What, at the sky?"
"Yeah. Can you see the stars out there in the city?"
"Yeah."
"Do you see the moon? And you see that little star next to it? And hey, doesn't that red star to its left look like it could be a spaceship?"
"Yeah." Sparrow chuckled. "I can see all of those things."
"Then if we're seeing the same things, isn't it just like I'm right beside you?"
She smiled, happiness washing through her. That was just like Tyler, to cheer her up like that.
"Feeling better?"
"Mmm."
"Alright, now you should probably get some sleep. You've been up all night, haven't you? Here, let's talk until you get back to the hotel..."
True to his word, Tyler talked to her the whole way back, despite almost drifting off to sleep a couple of times.
"Yes, I promise I'm really here. You get some sleep too, okay?"
"Ha ha, okay. Good night, Row."
Sparrow absent-mindedly pressed the button for the elevator, her mind still with Tyler. He had been better to her than she deserved, taking care of her while she denied her vampire blood and night walked.
He still stood by her these two years. And now that she remembered it all...
...she found herself quite in love with her quirky boyfriend.
With the confidence she gained from Tyler, she could even face her brothers with a smile.
"So guys? What do you think?"
"It's amazing Row!!" Abel replied enthusiastically. "So it's like your vampirism came with adulthood, right? That's awesome!"
Noah and Seth were in agreement - now that Sparrow was a vampire, they didn't have to worry as much about her safety. That didn't mean they would be watching her any less, though.
"Thanks, big brothers." Sparrow giggled. "Good to have your vote of approval!"
But before the quads could talk any more about this new development, Rhyme called to them from across the room.
"Guys? Can you...can you come here please?"
"I have something I need to tell you."

What a place to cut the chapter, huh?
Less babble, more plot found in
Part Two.
