Got my last two chapter illustrations done! I feel some sort of celebration is on order...but...I did everything fun I could think of while I was procrastinating.

Actually, I'm self-publishing through Createspace. I just don't have the nerve, patience and persistence to go through the regular publishing route.

47,000 words is not very long. Is the language moderate also? I am thinking my precocious first grader (who has read a lot of the Droon and Magic Treehouse series, and a couple of the shorter kids' books of Roald Dahl) might get a kick out of it. I feel confident it is quite funny (since, erm, *you* wrote it), which I think he will like. How would I find it online to order a copy?

The reading level's a bit high, I think. The book should be available on Amazon and Barbes and Noble when it's ready, also on E-books.

I will post a chapter, you can see if it's something you or your kid would be interested in. :D
