Daisuke got to the appointed spot with little difficulty this time. When he went to Philomel's world, it took three drawings to open up a pathway, but he managed to get here in only one try.

"Guess I'm getting lots of drawing practice," he said to With, who "kyu'd" on his shoulder. Daisuke pocketed the drawing of his room - his portal back home - and walked towards the lake.

Fakir heard Daisuke and turned to meet him. "Hello."

"Ah, who's that?" he asked, looking at With.

Daisuke almost jumped out of his skin, not originally seeing the man near the lake. He laughed nervously and bowed his head in greeting.

"Nice to meet you, sir!" he said. He patted With on the top of his head. "This is my familiar, With. You'll be using his wings to fly."

"His wings?" He didn't think the large ears exactly qualified.
