I feel you will enjoy Arabic, if nothing else then for the visual appeal, but I also agree that asking your advisor is a good idea. (I also think there is no way Spanish will not be helpful no matter where your life goes)

Yeah, I have to agree with... probably everyone ever. It's not a bad thing to realize that the language you are studying is not the one for you. It's okay to not want to learn Japanese. And I think it is really wise to find a language that IS right for you, and which you will actually be able to learn, and love, and use in your life.
