Holy crap, I feel like I'm five again and gone to sit in a group at the story-telling sessions at my local library. I'm riveted. I'm speechless. (I really, really can't wait to see more.)

The wizard with snakes in his chest, the demon spawn twins, the evil dragon with a name as black as his claws, the burning- I can't even. I'm just going to sit here with my jaw dropped forever, because damn, this is good storytelling.

No. Fuck good. This is fucking brilliant storytelling. You've got a hook, and you've caught me, and I'm not going anywhere until the rest of this story comes spilling out.

I don't think anyone will care this is months late, Ms Sexy Sunglasses, because this is so very worth the wait.

Um, I love this and cannot wait to read more, because, yeah, it's just incredible. The slow twist of the fairytale at the beginning from something sweet and good into something terribly wrong, the Hollow Wizard 'but he looked upon the beautiful princess with eyes that were still men's eyes, and he desired her', the twins (SILENT UNNAMED MAGICAL TWINS IN A TOWER WHAT!) that broke my heart all over again, and at last that single word 'Burn.' The flow is beautiful, the language is sharp, and the whole thing reminds me of the kind of savage fairytales I was read as a child, only much, much better.

Uh, so, stemming the tide of rambling, I love this like whoa and I flail in your general direction. <3

Wooow what a prologue. I'm torn between wanting to love the depth you added to the back story for them and wanting to hate the misfortune and bitter, cruel tragedies Fai and Yuui and Kurogane endured. That's cruel how Fai is still punished to live, in a way. :(

This is such a tease! I will happily wait (terrible, terrible and obvious pun) for the next installments and for their adventure and spoilers: reunion. Unless I'm wrong about that...

I think the most interesting part is that "Waiting" is technically a remix of a short ficlet/explanation my friend wrote for her fanart that I based the story on. So that means this is a remix of a remix. I'm going to let her know.
