Alright, so! Ned is a teenage boy. He likes TV, movies, and video games! He probably won't recognize many (if any) anime characters, unless they've been dubbed and put on Cartoon Network. l-lulz. BUT COMMENT HERE ANYWAY, because this post has two purposes!

Yeaaah Matsumoto is from one of those shows that shows up on Cartoon Network, really late at night.

However the only other ones who might apply are Sora (Kingdom Hearts) and Balthier (FFXII), and Balthier's canon is much more recent. Sora is actually relatively zen with being called fictionaL. He has a friend who lives in a book, it's just something like that, really. He tries not to think about it. And Sora is totally up for being a Ned distraction! O:!

Iiiii think the only one who might apply here is Hyde since That '70s Show is now at that point where it's syndicated and everything. Ned strikes me as probably being a bit too young to have watched Daria (or Ranma 1/2 really) and Hidan hasn't shown up in any form of Naruto canon in the US anyway, so. Anyway, feel free to recognize him if that's the case.
