It had been lasting far too long, and while Faramir did enjoy the opportunity to fly, it had become less thrilling by now. He would much rather be himself and welcome the new students to the island without having to hoot at them.

He hooted dolefully and fluttered up on the foot end of the bed.

She had a gift for him?

Perhaps it was his desire to see what she had gotten him or perhaps he wanted to be able to ask her what exactly Hogswatch was. Faramir honestly did not know what it was, but there was the strangest sensation and then he was much to big to keep his balance on the narrow bedpost. And just like bread always fell down on the buttered side, Faramir toppled towards the ground rather than towards the soft mattress.

"Umph. Ow."

Call it comedic causality. It was a female dog.

Maladicta peered down at him, one eyebrow going up as she took everything in. "And here I thought I was the only person to turn back naked."
