Fai's supposed to be Sakura & Syaoran's mummy, though, not Kurogane's. I guess it's a wifely thing to do, too, though. Like, fretting housewife sort of business. "Shame on you! *sniff*" God, now I'm picturing Fai in an old fifties-style apron. Bad! What an image--!
