Please tell me that these explosions aren't the work of alchemists? Really, they were bothersome enough back in Anhk-Morpork, they don't need to go about blowing up a barely functioning city...But nevermind that. I find it curious...we come from different worlds, we have different names for the language we speak...and yet it is the same language.

I know many languages. Quirmian, Überwaldean, Ephebian, Klatchian...and Latatian, of course, amoung others.

It's entirely possible that other languages also match up. Testing the theory may take some time, however.

It seems that most people I have spoken to call it English, although one called it "the common tongue" which is a stupid name for a language, really.
