I don't know anything about Star Wars, but I like the game, although Michel has to warn me sometimes that I'm shooting or hitting the good guys. It's true, you do cycle slower when you are reading. I thought that reading was the solution for a while as well on the exercise bike. Watching TV has about the same effect. Only music seems to get you going if you have a good beat.
