Hi, everybody!

It's been such a kick getting to see all of these cool fics by people whose writing I like that I thought I'd give this "top ten hits" meme a whirl. So, according to AO3, here are mine (LJ links with summaries will have much more info on explaining the stories, titles, and challenges):

1 - Guns 'n' Neuroses: AHAHAHA. Yes, this ( Read more... )

It was surprising to me that the ending for Chuck gave me no angry feelings, I was only caught by the bittersweet note to that ending and pondering how the show, from the start, has really been about selfhood and figuring out your place in the world, affirming family bonds, and finding family and how all the characters got a lot of development.

The Good Wife has been really good lately! How can the season be almost over already?

I didn't have angry (Changry?) feelings about Chuck's ending - in part because I wasn't as blood-pumpingly into it as I was during season 2 especially. But I think it was also because you're right, the show was about finding out who you are and all the things you can be and how you can build a family. Which is why I was disappointed that Chuck became the intersect again (unless they can find a way to get it out of him, pronto) and that Sarah is once again in spy-mode and has to redo all the work of finding her way into the grace of a civilian life. However, they were beautiful on the beach, reaching out to each other, and for that I can forgive a lot.

Also, Casey! I will miss his grunting!

I cannot fathom what the writers of TGW might be throwing at us next - I was so sure it was going to be Alicia running for office, if not this year, then next. They keep shaking things up!

I was not happy with the ending of Chuck, just a bit disappointed. It seemed so unfair-they worked so hard for everything, and Sarah and Chuck were largely starting over!

I too will miss Casey and his grunting.

I hear you - it is totally unfair that everything they'd worked for together could be wiped out like that, but it's also true that they got stronger while doing so, and so they could achieve those dreams again.

Casey had a whole dictionary's worth of grunts! (Your icon is hilarious!)
