India

Hi, everybody!

So I went with my little brother to India and, as usual, was rampantly, grossly sick the entire time. Traveling - particularly to India - just does not agree with me. SOP is that going to India involves staying with various family members and doing very little sightseeing (we ourselves, as the American babies, become the sight for ( Read more... )

Ooh, my, what a lovely ornament! Are the salmon-colored flowers added in and also jasmine, or something else?

So sorry traveling = being ill. That is no fun!

Welcome home, though.

The orange flowers are something else, but I don't know the English name for them. I don't think I've ever seen a string of jasmine flowers without them.

Thanks for the vibes! Are you over your bad cold?

Interesting.

I am...sort of over? But not really? Still coughing like crazy and feeling less then peppy. It's annoying.
*sigh*

You have *such* beautiful hair. :)

That does sound incredibly annoying - sorry to hear that.

Ha, thanks! All I can see when I look at that picture is the rat's nest my hair turns into when I've been sitting by an open train window for four hours!

Awww, I'm sorry you spent your whole trip sick (and are still sick!). That is no way to fend off the marriage talk. *g* Hope you feel better very very soon!

I'm so sorry you were so sick!

I love the photo-that looks beautiful. We have jasmine around here, but I've never seen people wear it in their hair.

I hope you recover quickly!

(I have a cold, but it's just a cold, and I hope I'm on the recovery side of it.)

Thanks! Those strings of flowers are pretty commonplace in India - that one came from a guy who walked up to our window when our train to Mysore was stopped somewhere, and only cost a few pennies.

I hope your cold goes away soon!

As everyone else has sad, I'm sorry you were ill for your holiday.

The photo is great - and no wonder it's an experience you treasure.
