I've had a bit of an old-fashioned domestic weekend - and I've rather enjoyed it.

Saturday I worked on my crafts; went and got 2 retro-style patterns while they were reduced, got the polar-fleece to finish my rug and the last few things to finish off a series of projects I hope to sell. Then I went out and had a drink for someone's birthday.

I used to go to the Gepps X markets every Sunday morning with my mum. Rules: get up early, everything good is gone by 9; don't bother with the drive-in foods; don't buy anything you can't comfortably carry; be wary of everyone and protect your wallet; park in front of the Standom smallgoods place and buy their kranskies afterwards.
