Wandered WFI? Experiencing lag? You're not alone.

So, in light of the recent events, particularly people complaining about how their browsers went awry after visiting the WFI site (will not be linked), I decided to share a little pearl with you.

I don't use IE, as many of those complaining about browser problems said they do, but I noticed a severe lack of response most of the time from my own browser after visiting the site.

I update Adware (Spyware removal program for those of you who might not know) often and scan my computer every night. Generally I get between 5 and 10 deletable files most nights.

This morning? 174. And the scan isn't even finished yet.

I repeat. 174. I spent a grand total of three hours on my computer last night and the three main sites I visited were livejournal, greatestjournal, and the WFI site. I've NEVER received this type of crazy overflow before. I was wandering the WFI site for a while, but honestly, what the heck are they doing?

Anyone else having this kind of problem, and or, high critical object rate?

Edit: okay so, the scan is finished and it's remained at 174 (totallying 202 with the negligable objects). Figures that this would happen on the one day I WASN'T looking at pr0n.

Edit 2: Okay, so, people are getting mixed results from their scans. I've just finished about twenty minutes of wandering around on the WFI site (I think I deserve a cookie for that x.x) and I'm about to rescan. I'll post the results when the scan is finished.

Edit 3: 5 minutes into the scan and already adware has picked up 12 items. I'd like to remind people that the only two sites I've visited were the innocence_jihad community and the WFI site, and the last scan finished about half an hour ago, cleaning my hd completely. I'll post a list of the sites the objects came from when all is finished.

Edit 4: The scan has ended, I'm once again noticing extreme lag on my browser, but only 12 items (plus 2 negligable) were found.
