I stared a community called nosponsoredgift. I'm sure you know why and what it is about. I am a perm user and I hate seeing these ads. I had a comment on the first page with the gist of "this sucks" and was spammed with so many cans of pepsi. I am seeing ads and I really dislike it.

Yeah, they do a lot of stuff with LJ, but the mod said that they don't want to make anyone from the LJ staff mad. I kind of want to be a bit more active than testing out the ads like that comm does.

Wait, people started spamming you with Pepsi just because you commented on the news post saying you didn't like the gift? I'm pretty sure you can complain if you're being spammed with unwanted gifts...

Yep. People are rude. I had to delete about 10 "gifts" that day.

Isn't there any way to report the users for harassment? Or is LJ just gonna tell you to suck it since people from our comm have been spamming them?
