Thomas Devlin was murdered two nights ago by a bunch of cowardly bastards, who stabbed the 15 year old guy in the back five times. Dev was a quiet guy, it wasnt provoked. He was a mate of Rach's and he was lovely any time I talked to him. Another friend of mine was there at the time, J McK, who also got stabbed. He luckily survived but no doubt he'

I hate hearing stories like this. Makes me want to get away from Northern Ireland even more. But the fact is you will get people like this no matter where you go. It's terrible and I'm sorry to hear this.

Thomas was a lovely boy ... I didn't know him personally but I saw him around school. He seemed to enjoy his school life, bless him. In B.R.A we're doing several things for him ... there's a Thomas Devlin fund and there's been quite a substantial amount raised so far. Not sure how much, if anyone would like to know though, contact me and I'll find out for whoever it may be no problem. There was also a book that lay just inside the Crombie building (castley part of BRA) in one of the rooms just off reception and people could sign the book as they wished and paid their respects towards Thomas. In our annual school magazine in which pupils and teachers alike contribute to it ... it's basically all about the school, what's been happening etc. The headmaster did a lovely article on Thomas ... it was very moving. I'm sure if anyone wants a copy, if you contact the school for a copy of "The Owl" (name of the annual school magazine). We have never forgotten Thomas in our school or indeed our hearts.
