I don't know who's watched S6 and who hasn't, but my US DVD set arrived on Friday and I caught up with the last six episodes that haven't been show here yet. Wow. It got good.

I'm interested to hear what you think of the quality of the blu-ray versions. I didn't think the early seasons were filmed in high enough quality for blu-ray to give much improvement, but I'd love it if they managed to work some magic.

I'm absolutely fascinated with all the parallels between Cas's journey this year and Sam's journey in season 4. And also that we keep viewing all of this from Dean's pov, though this time he really came out straight with telling Cas he was wrong and he just had to trust that Dean was right (as the audience are clearly meant to). All so very intriguing.
