So, I've been watching Fringe S2. Several episodes ago everyone discovered Charlie had been killed. This episode I'm watching, people seem to be confused by the girl who died and came back to life who has nuclear launch codes and is speaking Russian, but they're not confused by the dead guy wandering about the office?

Hmm, are you possibly confusing alternate universes?

Nope. Where I'm up to, the only person who's been to an AU is Olivia, and she then crashed through her car windscreen on the way back. Charlie was killed by someone from the AU who took his place, but that guy was also killed a few episodes back. This was episode 11 or 12 of S2, and suddenly he's there again, nobody batted an eye, and there was no mention of AUs or anything else. It was a story about some bloke in the navy whose consciousness transferred into a teenage girl when he died, and that was the 'weirdness of the week'. For me, though, the real dead guy walking was Charlie! It was just bloody odd.

Hmm, I need to watch that again. Did he have lines and everything?

I want to say this was a case of the network/execs/PTB choosing to air episodes out of order. A really, really daft case.
