For my first post, I present... a MEME! I stole. From Ryoko/Shinju
Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is she heavyset, thin, short, rangy? Del is about 5'2", with a large bust (which she's not fond of, honestly), and is otherwise fairly fit. She looks like she can handle herself in a fight, or she would if she could stop looking so unhappy all the time.
2. How old is she? 18
3. Describe her posture. Does she carry herself well or does she slouch? She carries herself a little hesitantly and uncertainly. Most of the time, her gaze can be found focused towards the ground, but if startled, her head snaps up and she slip partially into a stance, just in case.
4. How is her health? Is she fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities? Physically, Delis the peak of health. She's strong, swift, and although she hasn't practiced in six months, very much in shape. She is also very depressed, and has a lot of trouble speaking. She's better now than at the start, but she still prefers to write on her whiteboard than to speak.
5. How does she move? Is she clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid? She walks with a rolling gait, still very much a martial artist. She's very graceful, though she doesn't show off much.
6. How attractive is this character physically? How does she perceive herself in the mirror? Del doesn't often bother with mirrors anymore. Objectively, she knows she's attractive, she just tries not to flaunt it.
7. Describe her complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred? She's pale skinned, and she tans pretty decently as long as she's careful about it. Her arms and hands are scarred and callused from martial arts practice.
8. Describe her hair: color, texture, style. Del's hair is a fine, white-blonde, hanging long and loose down her back to her waist. Occasionally she pins it back into a half ponytail.
9. What color are her eyes? Bright green.
10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features? You mean besides the giant tits? *shot*
11. What are her chief tension centers? Usually her mid and lower back, thanks to the large chest, but also her neck and shoulders. And at a specific time of the month, her gut translates into a migraine like you wouldn't believe.
12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does she have six of the same suit? Del is fond of pink, and mandarin-styled shirts. Usually in concert. She also tends towards blue jeans and flat sneakers, with a jean jacket over the top. The Jacket has a rose emblazoned on the back
13. Do her clothes fit well? Does she seem comfortable in them? She tends to alter her clothes so that they fit, yes, and she loves them. They fit, she moves well in them, and can fight in them if the need arises.
14. Does she dress the same on the job as she does in her free time? If not, what are the differences? Her job used to be in the music field, creating and enjoying. However it's been six months since then, and now she's in the City to boot. Her daily clothes aren't likely to change too much.
15. You knew it was coming: Boxers, briefs or commando? Bikini briefs.
Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse? Her voice is softly hoarse, as she hasn't spoken in six months.
2. How does she normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does she talk easily, or does she hesitate? Speech is still extremely difficult for her, and so she stutters and stammers, and has to fight for every word. Her normal voice is about a mid-range soprano, though her vocal range when she sings is much more impressive. Not that she sings much anymore.
3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics? She tends to mix English and Japanese, though she has no real accent to speak of. Also, currently, she stammers, and has to fight to get her words out.
4. What language/s does she speak, and with how much fluency? English and Japanese, as fluently as possible, given her parents.
5. Does she switch languages or dialects in certain situations? Well, if she's really mad, she might insult you in Scandinavian.
6. Is she a good impromptu speaker, or does she have to think about her words? Both. Mostly the latter nowadays
7. Is she eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change? Most of the time, she's inarticulate. As time progresses, she'll likely return to her former ability with words.
Mental and Emotional
1. How intelligent is this character? Is she book-smart or street-smart? A bit of both, though mostly the latter. She knows things from both stretches of life, though she tends to rely more on street-smarts than book smarts.
2. Does she think on her feet, or does she need time to deliberate? On her feet. Always. She's very inventive.
3. Describe the character's thought process. Is she more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical? Del has a rather unflappable personality. She takes things as they come, rolls with the punches, and usually comes out intact. She relies on her intuition about people, and usually manages to jump the right way.
4. What kind of education has the character had? Honestly, not many. The worst thing so far has been the plan crash that took everyone but her father from her. (I don't know how my brain turned 'education' into adventure, I really don't.) *COUGH* Del's unofficially a graduate of her New York high school, but because of the immigration to Japan, she was in the middle of her first/last/ONLY year in a Japanses school.
5. What are her areas of expertise? What, if anything, is she interested in learning more about? Music. Always music.
6. Is she an introvert or an extrovert? Del keeps to herself mostly, but she's begun to grow tired of solitude. She has a tendency to seek people out when she's ready to talk about something. If she's not ready, she locks up tighter than a clam.
7. Describe the character's temperament. Is she even-tempered or does she have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven? Del is very, very hard to annoy. She's even tempered and quiet, sad nor more than anything else. She has sharp moments of sarcasm and bite, but they fade quickly. As she recovers, her mood will turn towards pleasant and welcoming, if not precisely cheery.
8. How does she respond to new people or situations? Is she suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic? Cautious. She's in a new place, in an unfamiliar situation, and nothing makes any sense. So she's wary, and listening to her intuition.
9. Is she more likely to act, or to react? React. Tesu was the proactive one, Del tends to wait and see how things play out.
10. Which is her default: fight or flight? Fight. When it comes right down to it, Del will fight rather than run..
11. Describe the character's sense of humor. Does she appreciate jokes? Puns? Gallows humor? Bathroom humor? Pranks? Del's humor is sort of missing right now, but she appreciates jokes and dry humor.
12. Does the character have any diagnosable mental disorders? If yes, how does she deal with them? Right at the moment, extreme depression stemming from grief. She deals with it without meds, just trying to live day to day.
13. What moments in this character's life have defined her as a person? Several. The birth of her little brother, her discovery of her musical ability, her delving into martial arts, and the death of her sister.
14. What does she fear? Well, generally it would be the death of her sister, but that's already happened. Right now, she's too emotionally numb and alone to really fear much of anything.
15. What are her hopes or aspirations? She's still rediscovering those.
16. What is something she doesn't want anyone to find out about her? Discovering that too.
Relationships
1. Describe this character's relationship with her parents. Ambivalent. She always wanted her mother's approval, and she did care for her father, but their deliberate blindness regarding her oldest brother made her wary.
2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like? She did. She loved Tesu, as Tesu was her twin, her literal other half. She adored Sam, who was her younger brother. Her older brothers, Taki and Jordan, she wasn't fond of at all.
3. Are there other blood relatives to whom she is close? Are there ones she can't stand? Nope. She barely knows her grandparents on either side of the family. Both her parents were first gen immigrants.
4. Are there other, unrelated people whom she considers part of her family? What are her relationships with them? She had her friends, but they were all in New York, and after the accident she and her father stayed in Japan. And now in the City, she's still a little too uncertain about people to claim friends.
5. Who is/was the character's best friend? How did they meet? Her twin was her very best friend, but she had a few others, who were important to her.
6. Does she have other close friends? Not at the moment, sadly.
7. Does she make friends easily, or does she have trouble getting along with people? She's not the most open of people, but she tends to make friends easily. Normally, she likes people, and can get along with even the most belligerent of personalities.
8. Which does she consider more important: family or friends? Given that she's lost both, I'd go with she just wants both.
9. Is the character single, married, divorced, widowed? Has she been married more than once? Single. Has been for a while.
10. Is she currently in a romantic relationship with someone other than a spouse? Nope.
11. Who was her first crush? Who is her latest? She was affectionate with a close friend, and had a boyfriend or three, but broke up with them each time. At the moment, she's not interested in anyone.
12. What does she look for in a romantic partner? Someone who cares. She like wit, and a bit of a take-charge personality. She's not particularly interested in sex, but she does enjoy being cuddled, and told her music is amazing. XD
13. Does the character have children? Grandchildren? If yes, how does she relate to them? If no, does she want any? No, and potentially. Someday. Definitely not now.
14. Does she have any rivals or enemies? Not yet.
15. What is the character's sexual orientation? Where does she fall on the Kinsey scale? Hell if she knows on the Kinsey scale, but she considers herself a straight asexual. She likes men, but she's not into sex itself.
16. How does she feel about sex? How important is it to her? Not very. It's never been the thing she enjoyed most when dating someone. She much prefers to sit and snuggle.
17. What are her turn-ons? Turn-offs? Weird bedroom habits? Well, oddly, her neck is extremely sensitive. She likes to play wrestle, and does enjoy being dominated, as long as it's friendly. She bites and scratches, but she's not into blood or a lot of pain. And she loves to play with hair.
Beliefs
1. Do you know your character's astrological (zodiac or choice) sign? How well does she fit type? She's a Leo, amusingly enough. But her sign doesn't really match her at all, given that she's lacking in temper and prefers to keep herself humble.
2. Is this character religious, spiritual, both, or neither? How important are these elements in her life? Not really much of anything. If something's up there, it's up there, and she doesn't really care about it. She does think it's cruel for taking her sister and brother from her, but in the long run, they're not that important.
3. Does this character have a personal code of morals or ethics? If so, how did that begin? What would it take to compromise it? Protect the weak, it's that basic. Protect those who cannot protect themselves. She would give her life for this code of ethics, and it wouldn't really matter much to her any longer.
4. How does she regard beliefs that differ from hers? Is she tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent? Generally, she's indifferent. People believe what they believe and s long as they're not preaching at her, she doesn't much care.
5. What prejudices does she hold? Are they irrational or does she have a good reason for them? She's got a unique sort of stance there. She's of two races, and then raised in the melting pot of New York, so she rarely noticed hair, skin, or anything like that.
Daily Life
1. What is the character's financial situation? Is she rich, poor, comfortable, in debt? She's actually very well off. She doesn't advertise it any, but she's been making music for a very long time.
2. What is her social status? Has this changed over time, and if so, how has the change affected her? She prefers anonymity to anything else. Fame made her uncomfortable, even before Tesu's death.
3. Where does she live? House, apartment, trailer? Is her home her castle or just a place to crash? What condition is it in? Does she share it with others? In the City, she's currently sharing an apartment with Shinju. Before, she had an apartment to herself. She wasn't very involved with her place on Earth, but she'll take care of Shinju's and Ammy's apartment.
4. Besides the basic necessities, what does she spend her money on? Music. She can't create much of anything, but like her voice, the music is coming back.
5. What does she do for a living? Is she good at it? Does she enjoy it, or would she rather be doing something else? Del's a musician, considered a prodigy. She loves music, but it's still currently lost to her.
6. What are her interests or hobbies? How does she spend her free time? Outside of music, which she can't do at the moment, and martial arts, which she won't do, Del likes to read. She also enjoys gymnastics, dancing--though she professes to be not good at it--and just generally daydreaming. Any chance to pretend she's not who she is at the moment, she's willing to take.
7. What are her eating habits? Does she skip meals, eat out, drink alcohol, avoid certain foods? Del's not into alcohol, but she does have a thing for sweet, hard candies. She eats when she remembers Hopefully with Ammy to remind her, Del will eat regularly.

Which of the following do you associate with the character, or which is her favorite:
